Research And Planning: SLR camera pictures

we used the SLR cameras for the first time so we did test shots inside and outside , this give us some practice before we used them for our music magazine

This is the two pictures i took inside
the first picture is a mid long shot, we had to focus it ourselves so i think this picture looks quite clear and professional also it focuses on the face more than anything and makes the background blurred, i had the flash on in this picture which i think was better than no flash because it stood out a bit more.

the second picture is a long shot i don't think this one is as clear , this is maybe because i didn't have the flash on or maybe its because i didn't focus it as good , but because the flash isn't on the colours stood out a bit more rather than looking whiter

the first one is a long shot, i didnt use the flash outside because the lighting was quite bright already, the picture looks very clear and i think I've focused the camera well in this photo

the second image is a medium close up again i didnt use the flash and think this makes the colours stand out,i used a setting on the camera which made the picture look more detailed.
i think the images outside are better than the ones inside because of the lighting

i think the pictures are alot clearer and proffesional compared to the college magazine this is mainly because we used the SLR cameras.
